George Carlin - stand-up comedian, actor, social critic, and author

George Carlin was an American stand-up comedian, actor, social critic, and author, who won five Grammy Awards for his comedy albums. Carlin was famous for his black humor as well as his thoughts on politics, the English language, psychology, religion, and different taboo subjects. Carlin and his "Seven Dirty Words" comedy custom were central to the 1978 U.S. Supreme Court case F.C.C. v. Pacifica Foundation, in which a narrow 5–4 decision by the justices avowed the government's power to regulate indecent material on the public airwaves. The first of his 14 standup comedy special for HBO was film in 1977.

In the 1990s and 2000s, Carlin's routines listening carefully on the flaws in modern-day America. Aretha Louise Franklin is an American singer, songwriter and pianist usually referred to as The Queen of Soul. Although famous for her soul recordings, Franklin is also adept at jazz, blues, R&B and gospel music. Rolling Stone magazine ranked Franklin Number one on its list of The Greatest Singers of All Time. Aretha is one of the most pleased artists by the Grammy Awards, with 18 competitive Grammys to date, and two honorary Grammys. She has achieved a total of 20 No. 1 singles on the Billboard R&B Singles Chart, one of which also became her first number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100: "Respect" (1967).

"I Knew You Were Waiting" (1987), a duet with George Michael, became her second number one on the latter chart. Since 1961, Franklin has achieved a total of 45 "Top 40" hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She also has the majority million selling singles of any female artist with 14. Between 1967 and 1982 Aretha had 10 #1 R&B albums more than any additional female artist. In 1987, Franklin became the first female performer to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Aretha Franklin was the only characteristic singer at the 2009 presidential inauguration for Barack Obama.

Beyonce Knowles is an American Pop/R&B singer, songwriter, fashion designer and actress. She enrolls in a variety of performing arts schools and was first exposed to singing and dancing contest as a child. Knowles rose to fame in the late 1990s as the famous singer of the R&B girl group Destiny's Child, one of the world's top selling girl groups of all time. Knowles released her entrance solo album Dangerously in Love, which spawned the number one hits "Crazy in Love" and "Baby Boy" and became one of the majority successful albums of that year, earning her a then record tying five Grammy Awards.

Knowles began her acting career in 2001, show in the musical film Carmen: A Hip Hopera. In February 2010, the RIAA scheduled her as the top certified artist of the decade. In 2010, VH1 scheduled Knowles at number 52 on its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
