Carlos Slim - Richest Man In The World

Carlos Slim Helu is a Mexican business magnate and the chairman and CEO of Telmex, Telcel and America Movil. As of April 2010, he is the wealthiest person in the world with a net value of around US$60.6 billion. His sons Carlos, Marco Antonio and Patrick Slim Domit run the day to day process of Telmex, Telcel, and America Movil. He has been vice president of the Mexican Stock Exchange and president of the Mexican Association of Brokerage house. He was the first president of the Latin American commission of the New York Stock Exchange Administration Council, and was in office from 1996 through 1998.

He has been awarded the Entrepreneurial Merit Medal of Honor from Mexico's Chamber of Commerce. He is a "gold patron" of the American Academy of Achievement, a Commander in the Belgian Order of Leopold II, CEO of the year 2003 by Latin Trade magazine, and one year later CEO of the decade by the Latin Trade magazine. On March 10, 2010, Forbes once again report that Slim had overtaken Gates as the world's richest man, with a net worth of US$53.5 billion. Gates and Buffett currently have a net worth of US$53 billion and US$47 billion respectively. He was the initial Mexican to top the list. It was the first time in 16 years that the personality on top of the list was not from the United States. It was also the first time the person at the top of the listing was from an "emerging economy."

George W. Bush

George Walker Bush was served as the 43rd President of the United States. Bush is the eldest son of President George H. W. Bush, who served as the 41st President, and Barbara Bush, make him one of only two American presidents to be the son of a previous president. Eight months into Bush's first phrase as president, the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks occurred. In response, Bush announced a global War on Terrorism, ordered a raid of Afghanistan that same year and an invasion of Iraq in 2003. He signed into law broad tax cuts, the No Child Left Behind Act, the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act, and Medicare instruction drug benefits for seniors. His possession saw national debates on immigration and Social Security. After leaving office, Bush return to Texas and purchased a home in a suburban area of Dallas, Texas. He is at present a public speaker and is writing a book about his presidency.

Bill Clinton

William Jefferson "Bill" Clinton was served as the 42nd President of the United States. At 46 he was only the third-youngest president. He became president at the finish of the Cold War, and was the first baby boomer president. Clinton has been describe as the New Democrat. Some of his policies, such as the North American Free Trade Agreement and welfare reform, have been credited to a centrist Third Way philosophy of governance, while on other issues his carriage was left of center. Clinton presided over the maintenance of an economic expansion that would later become the highest period of peace-time economic expansion in American history. The Congressional Budget Office reported a budget excess in 2000, the last full year of Clinton's presidency. Clinton left office with the maximum end-of-office approval rating of any U.S. president since Second World War. Clinton produced the William J. Clinton Foundation to promote and address international causes such as cure and prevention of HIV/AIDS and global warming.
