Titanic film in 1997

Titanic is the 1997 American epic romance and disaster film directed, co-produced, written, and co-edited by James Cameron. A fictionalized account of the dipping of the RMS Titanic, it stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson and Kate Winslet as Rose DeWitt Bukater, associate of different social classes who fall in love on board the ship during its ill-fated maiden voyag. Creation on the film began in 1995, when Cameron shot footage of the real Titanic wreck. The recent scenes were shot on board the Akademik Mstislav Keldysh, which Cameron had use as a foundation when filming the actual wreck. A rebuilding of the Titanic was built at Playas de Rosarito, Baja California, and scale models and computer-generate imagery were also used to reconstruct the sinking.

Titanic was an enormous serious and commercial success. It was selected for fourteen Academy Awards, eventually winning eleven, with Best Picture and Best Director. It become the maximum grossing film of all time, with a worldwide gross of over $1.8 billion the first film to attain the billion dollar mark and remain so for twelve years awaiting Cameron's after that directorial effort, Avatar, surpassed it in 2010. Titanic is also rank as the sixth top epic film of all time in AFI's 10 Top 10 by the American Film Institute. The film is due for dramatic re-release in 2012 after Cameron complete its conversion into 3-D.

Meryl Streep is an American actress who has job in theatre, television and film. She is extensively regarded as one of the most brilliant and respected actors of the modern era. Streep prepared her professional phase debut in 1971's The Playboy of Seville, before her screen debut in the television movie The Deadliest Season in 1977. In that similar year, she complete her film debut with Julia. Both critical and profitable success came fast with roles in The Deer Hunter (1978) and Kramer vs. Kramer (1979), the former charitable Streep her first Oscar nomination and the later her first win. She later won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her act in Sophie's Choice (1982).

Streep has got 16 Academy Award nominations, winning two, and 25 Golden Globe nominations, winning seven, further nominations than any other actor in the history of either award. Her occupation has also make her two Emmy Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, a Cannes Film Festival award, four New York Film Critics Circle Award, five Grammy Award nominations, a BAFTA award, Australian Film Institute Award and a Tony Award nominations, with others. She was award the American Film Institute's Lifetime success Award in 2004.

Grace Kelly - American Actress, Princess Companion of Monaco

Grace Patricia Kelly was an American Academy Award winning actress and Princess Companion of Monaco. In April 1956 Kelly married Rainier III, Prince of Monaco, and became styled as Her calm Highness The Princess of Monaco, and was usually referred to as Princess Grace. After embark on an acting career in 1950, at the age of 20, Grace Kelly appeared in New York City dramatic productions as well as in more than forty episodes of live drama productions transmit during the early 1950s Golden Age of Television. In October 1953, with the leave go of Mogambo, she became a movie star, a status confirmed in 1954 with a Golden Globe Award and Academy Award suggestion as well as leading roles in five films, including The Country Girl, in which she give a deglamorized, Academy Award winning performance.

She retired from acting at 26 to enter upon her duty in Monaco. She and Prince Rainier had three children: Caroline, Albert, and Stephanie. She also retain her American roots, maintain dual US and Monegasque citizenships. She died on September 14, 1982, two months before her 53rd birthday, when she gone control of her automobile and crashed after suffering a caress. Her daughter Princess Stéphanie, who was in the car with her, survives the accident. In June 1999, the American Film Institute ranked her #13 in list of top female stars of American cinema.
